TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State Softball team enjoyed another successful fall Sunday as they took down Olney Central and Spoon River at Terre Haute South Vigo High School.
 
Game one saw a 9-0 victory over Olney Central which was followed by a 16-0 win over Spoon River in game two.
 
The Sycamores got strong pitching performances in both games from freshman 
Cassi Newbanks, sophomore 
Lyndsi Adamson and junior 
Lexi Benko.
 
The offense was firing on all cylinders including three Indiana State home runs in game two. 
Bella Peterson hit a grand slam with 
Kaylee Barrett and 
Isabella Henning also adding blasts of their own.
 
Indiana State will head to St. Mary of the Woods on Sunday, September 26 to continue their fall slate with a game against SMWC at 11 a.m. ET and another against Danville Area College at 1:15 p.m. ET.
