TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's soccer will welcome UT Martin to Memorial Stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET for their home opener.
The Sycamores fell to Missouri 3-1 on Friday afternoon at Audrey J. Walton Soccer Stadium.
CeCe Wahlberg scored the lone goal for Indiana State and
Tara Tesmond made seven saves.
UT Martin comes to town with a 1-1-1 record after falling 1-0 to Indiana on Thursday night. The Skyhawks are coached by Phil McNamara who is in his 12th as head coach at UT Martin. All-OVC selections Maria Castaldo and Erica Meyers return this season as well as Emely van der Vliet who was the team's leading scorer last season.
Jaden Hildreth and Makayla Robinson have each scored for UT Martin this season with Meyers recorded eight saves through their first three matches.
Indiana State will go back on the road on Thursday as they travel to Furman on Thursday for a 8 p.m. ET match at Stone Stadium.
