Sycamore Volleyball Signs Emma Best for 2021 Season

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sycamore volleyball head coach Lindsay Allman announced the addition of Emma Best to the 2021 recruiting class on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Best joins fall signees Emma Kaelin and Storm Suhre as the third member of the class.
 
"What an addition we to our 2021 class we have with Emma Best," Allman said. "We could not be more excited to have another highly competitive and spirited player on our roster. She is going to fit right in with this team's goals and ultimately our program. She is a dynamic, high-energy six-rotation player and I look forward to seeing what she does throughout her career here."

Best, a 5-foot-10 outside hitter from Lake Central High School, earned numerous honors during her time in high school, including being named a GJNC 18 USA champion, a member of the GJNC All-Tournament Team, being named to the 2020 AVCA Under Armour All-American watch list, a member of the 2021 PrepVolleyball 2021 top players to watch list, a GJNC All-American, DAC All-Conference honoree and an NWI All-Area honoree while also amassing numerous other awards. As a senior, Best tallied 240 kills (3.0 per set) while hitting .238 to go along with 263 digs, 37 service aces and 31 blocks during 81 sets played. Throughout her career, the Lake Central product compiled 978 kills, 1,122 digs, 161 aces and 115 blocks.
