OPENING WHISTLE
- Indiana State registered its second consecutive 1-0 home victory Friday, taking down Southern Illinois in the friendly confines of ISU Memorial Stadium.

- Freshman keeper Maddie Alexander continued her stellar rookie campaign, registering her second straight clean sheet, making six saves against the Salukis. It marked the third straight match of six saves.

- Sophomore defender Chloee Kooker was named Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the week Tuesday, March 2, by the league office. Kooker anchored the ISU defense at center back, playing all 90 minutes and helping produce the Sycamores' first clean sheet in Valley play since October 23, 2016.
