NORMAL, Ill – Indiana State women's soccer continues its Missouri Valley Conference road swing with a trip to Normal, Ill. to take on Illinois State at Adelaide Street Field Saturday, March 13 at 2 p.m. ET.
- Indiana State's 2-1 start to Valley play is its best start to conference action since the 2006 season when it also started 2-1.
- ISU is coming off a 2-0 road defeat at Valparaiso Tuesday, evening its overall record to 2-2 and moving its MVC mark to 2-1.
- The Sycamores registered more shots (11), and more corners (7) than Valpo in the match, but the two were even in shots on goal (4).

Maddie Alexander continued her stellar rookie campaign this week, being named the Missouri Valley Conference's Freshman of the Week March 9. The Battle Creek, Mich. native registered her second straight clean sheet in Valley play, making six saves against the Southern Illinois. It was the third straight match of six saves for Alexander.
