TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State soccer team kicks off the 2021 spring campaign's Missouri Valley Conference slate with a home match against Drake at 1 p.m. ET in Memorial Stadium.

OPENING WHISTLE
- Sunday's meeting between the Sycamores and Bulldogs (0-0-0) marks the first of an eight-match Valley season for ISU this spring.
 - Indiana State is coming off a 3-0 loss at the hands of Saint Louis (4-0-0) on Tuesday. Â
- Freshman keeper
Maddie Alexander faced 24 total shots from the Billikens, including nine on goal. The Battle Creek, Mich. native made six saves in her debut.
- The Sycamores had two shots on goal, both by
CeCe Wahlberg.
- The Missouri Valley Conference announced its 2021 Spring Preseason poll and All-MVC team on Wednesday, with sophomore Cece Wahlberg highlighting the selections for Indiana State. Wahlberg was one of 11 named to the All-MVC Preseason First Team.
-The Sycamores had two shots on goal, both by
CeCe Wahlberg. The Sycamores were picked to finish eighth with 23 points.
-Only essential gameday personnel and student-athletes pass list members will be permitted into Memorial Stadium.

- Indiana State and Drake have played one another 22 times in program history, with the Sycamores trailing the all-time series 6-15-1.
- Three of ISU's wins over the Bulldogs have come in the friendly confines of Memorial Stadium, last defeating Drake at home in an exciting MVC Tournament thriller.
- In that showdown, Indiana State and Drake needed PKs to decide the first round winner, with the Sycamores advancing 3-2 after 110 minutes of scoreless play.
