EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Jocelyn Quiles continued her climb toward the top of the record book as Indiana State competed in the NCAA DI Great Lakes Regional on Friday afternoon in Evansville.
The Sycamore women placed 22nd while the Sycamore men placed 24th. The Sycamore women finished with 602 points while the Sycamore men tallied 647 points.
Quiles, an O'Fallon, Mo. native, placed 49th in the women's 6K to lead the way for the Sycamores. She posted a time of 21:00.4 which puts her into a tie with Taylor Austin for second-fastest in program history.
Sydney Partyka finished in 117
th place with a time of 22:20.6 while
Erica Barker (122nd - 22:23.6),
Morgan Dyer (139th - 22:36.6), and
Maggie Falater (180th - 23:23.1) also scored for Indiana State.
Sophomore
Cale Kilian paced the Sycamore men with a time of 31:49.4 in the men's 10K to place 83rd.
Jackson Krieg (32:36.4),
Cael Light (32:50.1),
Ethan Breen (33:19.1) and
Jay Dworak (33:33.4) placed 120th, 132nd, 153rd and 159th to highlight the scoring for the men.
