TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Seven student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to further their academic and athletic careers as members of the Indiana State women's soccer program, head coach
Julie Hanley announced today.
Set to join the program in the fall of 2022 is Ella Gorrie, Kaitlin Koger, Madeline Lotspeich, Leah McDonald, Ella Roesch, Molly Smith and Adelaide Wolfe.
"We are very excited to welcome our 2022 class to the Sycamore family. We feel this group can have an immediate impact and help us continue our growth as a program," head coach
Julie Hanley said. "These girls all come from wonderful families so we are ecstatic to welcome them to our family at Indiana State."

Ella Gorrie
Chatham, Illinois // Glenwood High School
Midfielder/Defender
A three-year letterwinner at Glenwood High School under head coach Jay Lipe, she has tallied 19 goals and 20 assists. Played club soccer for Eclipse ECNL RL under head coach Brandon Menke. An All-State and All-Midwest selection as well as the SJR Female Soccer Player of the year winner in the spring of 2021.
Kaitlin Koger
Zionsville, Indiana // Guerin Catholic High School
Midfielder
Earned All-Conference and All-District honors for four-straight years at Guerin Catholic under head coach Sean Yau. Recorded 35 goals and 17 assists over four seasons. Named to the All-County team three times while earning academic All-State honors four times. Played club for Indiana Fire ECNL under head coach Paul Dolinksky. She was also a four-year starter on the varsity basketball team.
Madeline Lotspeich
O'Fallon, Missouri // Fort Zumwalt West High School
Goalkeeper
Has been a part of the Fort Zumwalt West HS team for four years under head coach Sean Baldwin. Named to the conference All-Academic team twice. Played club for St. Louis Scott Gallagher ENCL Green under head coach Shawn Hewitt. She was a member of two Missouri State Cup Champion teams as well as the runner-up in 2019. Member of the 2019-20 US Youth Soccer National League.
Leah McDonald
Springfield, Missouri // Glendale High School
Defender
Three-year starter at Glendale High School under head coach Jeff Rogers. She has earned 1
st team all-region honors twice as well as 2
nd team all-state in the spring of 2021. Played club for Sporting Springfield SC under former Indiana State head coach Vernon Croft. They were state runner-up in 2019 Also played varsity volleyball.
Ella Roesch
St. Louis // Parkway West High School
Midfielder
Four-year letterwinner at Parkway West High School under head coach Annie Wayland. Made 1
st team All-Conference, All-District and All-Region as a junior. Played club for the Sporting St. Louis Rangers under head coach Mike Preusser. Member of two Midwest Regional Champion teams as well as making two state semifinals.
Molly Smith
Springfield, Tennessee // Springfield High School
Forward
Three-year letter winner at Springfield High School under head coach Ann Marie Turpen. She scored 125 goals in 35 games and was named District Offensive MVP three times. Career leader in goals at Springfield High School. Set the Tennessee State record for most goals in a game with 10. Played club for the Tennessee Soccer club under head coach Christian Dale.
Adelaide Wolfe
Bettendorf, Iowa // Pleasant Valley High School
Defender
Three-year letterwinner at Pleasant Valley High School under head coach Ed Krupp. Two-time high school State Qualifier. Earned Academic All-State four times. Played club for Sporting Iowa East under head coach Paul Dayrell. Won the 2020 State Cup with Sporting Iowa East.
