INDIANA STATE NOTES | BRADLEY NOTES

NOTES
  • The Series: Indiana State and Bradley meet for the 77th time on Thursday with ISU holding a 49-28 advantage in the series. Bradley won the first matchup this season on Jan. 5, 91-75, in Peoria, Ill.
  • A Win Would: A win on Thursday would give the Sycamores their second-consecutive victory for the first time since Nov. 7-23, 2018. A win would also give head coach Vicki Hall her first victory over the Braves since taking over the program.
  • Historic Day at the Line: Freshman Caitlin Anderson led the Sycamores to a victory over Evansville on Friday with a career-high 27 points and eight rebounds. Perhaps the biggest aspect of her performance, however, came from the free throw line where Anderson went a perfect 11-for-11, the best performance from a Sycamore since Kelsey Luna ended a perfect 12-for-12 against SIU on Mar. 11, 2010.
  • Sycamore Sweep: The Sycamores earned a season sweep of in-state rival Evansville on Friday, downing the Purple Aces 70-58 in Evansville. A big fourth quarter performance led to the victory, as the Trees outscored the Aces 25-14 to pull away for the victory and were led by Caitlin Anderson with 27 points and eight boards. Junior Marie Hunter also had a solid day in helping secure the win, ending with 16 points.
  • Hitting the Boards: ISU can boast themselves as one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Trees have pulled down 341 offensive boards (the second-most in the Valley) in 28 games, giving them an average of 12.2 per-game which is the third-best number in the Valley. Jamyra McChristine leads the blue and white with 6.3 rebounds per game, 10th in the Valley.
