Indiana State has hit at least one 3-pointer in every game since December 20, 2008 against DePauw -- a span of 362 contests, which is the third-longest active streak in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Greg Lansing is just the second head coach in the history of the program to record at least 150 victories at the helm of the Sycamores as he owns 159. His career win total is second-best at ISU (and his 84 MVC wins is the most in the history of the program). He also owns the school record with five wins over nationally-ranked teams.
Indiana State is riding a 10-game home streak -- one of 28 programs nationally that have won double digit games in a row at home. Wednesday's visitor Drake owns a 15-game home winning streak themselves.
A Win Over Drake Would ...
• Improve the Sycamores to 7-3 against the Bulldogs at home over the last 10 seasons.
• Make the Sycamores a perfect 9-0 inside Hulman Center this season and run their home court winning streak to 11 games which would be tied for the 20th-longest in the country.
• Give the Sycamores a winning record at the "turn" of MVC play for the seventh time in the last 10 years.
The Indiana State Head Coach
Indiana State head coach Greg Lansing (South Dakota, 1990) is 159-150 (.515) overall in his tenth season as a head coach. He is 84-86 all-time in MVC games, including a 58-27 mark at home and a 26-59 record on the road. During his career, he is 96-40 in all home games, 43-83 on the road, 21-26 in neutral court contests and 50-40 in games decided by five points or less. With the Trees, Lansing is 13-14 in overtime games and 101-10 when holding teams to 63 points or less. Coach Lansing is 9-10 all-time against Drake, and is 6-3 against the Bulldogs at home. Lansing led the Sycamores to the postseason in each of his first four seasons at the helm (2011 NCAA, 2012 CIT, 2013 & 2014 NIT). Lansing is the second head coach to lead the Sycamores to the NCAA Tournament in their rookie campaign in the history of the program, with the other being Bill Hodges leading ISU to a 33-1 record and a Final Four appearance in the 1979 NCAA Tournament. Lansing holds the school record for most victories over a nationally-ranked team (five) in the history of the program. Lansing is currently second on the Indiana State all-time coaching victories list with 159. His 84 MVC victories are a school record.

Sycamores Still Perfect At Home
Indiana State improved to a perfect 8-0 on the season inside Hulman Center by defeating the Bradley Braves for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons, The Braves are one of three league schools who have been able to win just once in Terre Haute over the last decade (Evansville and Illinois State are the others). Against the current league membership, the Sycamores own a .500 record or better against each opponent and are a combined 56-20 on their home court. The longest individual winning streak against a current league member comes against Evansville where the Sycamores have won nine a row dating back to 2011. All told, the Sycamores' home court winning streak has hit 10 games dating back to February 20, 2019. Indiana State is one of 28 teams in the country with a double digit home court winning streak. Only UNI (11) and Wednesday night's opponent (Drake with 15) have longer active home court winning streaks. Gonzaga leads the nation by having won each of their last 35 home games.
Making The Clubhouse Turn In Valley Play
Indiana State plays the final game of the "Front 9" of the Missouri Valley Conference schedule looking for a win against Drake and to move to 5-4 in league play. It would mark the first time the Sycamores have gone through the first nine league games with a winning record since they also were 5-4 in 2017-18. Through the first nine seasons under head coach Greg Lansing, the Sycamores have owned a winning record through the first nine league games a total of six times and with a win would make that seven out of ten with least a 5-4 record in Valley play.
