HOME, SWEET, FINALLY HOME
After spending the first three weekends of the season on the road, Indiana State will finally return home for their first home contest of the season on Tuesday, Sept. 17 when they host in-state foe IUPUI. IUPUI is the last non-conference matchup for the blue and white before they open the conference season at Drake and Northern Iowa in two weeks.

FRESH IMPACT
The freshman duo of
Gretchen Kuckkan and
Chloe Mason played key roles for the Trees at the Wright State Invite, with both recording double-doubles during the weekend. Kuckkan finished with two double-doubles, including a 13 kill-24 dig performance against Wright State while Mason earned her fifth career double-double in a win against Western Illinois with 20 assists and 13 digs.

DIGGIN' IT
The Sycamores got back to their defensive ways over the weekend, recording a total of 209 digs at the Wright State Invitational. Their 209 total digs included a 24 dig performance by both Gretchen Kucckan and
Melina Tedrow against Wright State and gave them an impressive 19 digs-per-set for the tourney.

ASSISTING THE OFFENSE
Freshman setter
Chloe Mason leads Indiana State in total assists on the season, tallying 165 through nine games (29 sets) for an average of 5.39 assists-per-set, which is seventh in the conference. She also is ninth in the Valley in service aces, recording 11 for an average of .38 aces-per-set.

WELCOME TO D-I
Freshman hitterÂ
Gretchen Kuckkan stepped-up to the challenge of Division I competition, recording two double-doubles in her first collegiate tournament. Against Northeastern she tallied 11 kills and 16 digs and followed it up on Sunday against Green Bay with 11 kills and 15 digs. The freshman tallied double-digit digs in all three matches for the blue and white, ending the weekend with the second-most digs on the team at 42 and she ended with the most kills for ISU on the weekend at 42.

TRAVEL TEAM
The Sycamores spent the first three weekends of the season on the road at the Green Bay Invitational, Spartan Invitational and Wright State Invitational before finally returning home on Sept. 17 to faceoff with IUPUI.
