SAINT LOUIS NOTES
NOTES
- The Series: Indiana State and Saint Louis meet for the 11th time on Monday, with ISU holding a 7-3 advantage in the series. The Sycamores were victorious over the Billikens in 2018, winning 60-56.
- SLU Lockdown: Indiana State has historically managed to lockdown the Saint Louis offense in their all-time series with the Billikens. Between their 10 meetings, SLU averages just 55.1 points against the Trees and the most ISU has given up in one game has been 67, both in 2002 and 2016. Indiana State holds a 7-3 advantage in the all-time series.
- A Win Would: A win on Saturday afternoon would end Indiana State's seven game losing streak, as well as give the Sycamores their eighth win in the all-time series against SLU. A win would also give Vicki Hall a 2-0 record against the Billikens as the Indiana State coach.
- Hitting the Boards: Through the nonconference, ISU can boast themselves as one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Trees have pulled down 153 offensive boards in 11 games, giving them an average of 13.9 per-game. ISU was right on their average against SEMO, pulling down 14 offensive boards and Jamyra McChristine leads the blue and white with 6.2 rebounds per game.
- A Balanced Attack: Indiana State continues to bring a balanced offensive attack to the table, with the most recent effort coming at home against Southeast Missouri. A duo of freshman led ISU in the loss to SEMO, with Caitlin Anderson tallying 13 points and Adrian Folks earning 11. Five Sycamores finished with eight or more points. Seven of ISU's 11 games have seen at least three athletes score 10 points.
