Swimming and Diving set to Host Double-Dual Meet With Indianapolis and Missouri State This Weekend

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Swimming set to host the University of Indianapolis, and conference foe, Missouri State on Saturday the 19th  beginning at 4pm and Sunday the 20th beginning at 10am.
 
Series History
The Sycamores have never met Indianapolis in school history. The Trees have only swam against Missouri State in the conference championships. This matchup will be an inaugural double-dual meet for the blue and white.

  • The Sycamores enter this weekend's contest with an 0-1 record falling to University of Illinois last Friday, 193-107
  • Freshman Britney Meienburg out herself in the record book posting a score of 213.67 in the 1-meter dive for fourth best in school history
  • Senior Alex Malmborg claimed a first place victory in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.02
  • Ashleigh Sinks posted a first-place finish in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.90
  • The double-dual weekend is set to start at 4pm on Saturday at the Vigo County Aquatic Center
