TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State's 2018-19 women's basketball schedule was finalized Tuesday as the Missouri Valley Conference released the league slate for the upcoming season.
The Sycamores, entering their first year under the direction of
Vicki Hall, will open Valley play on Friday, Jan. 4 at Missouri State and will wrap up the season facing the Lady Bears at home in the Hulman Center on Saturday, Mar. 9.
With the announcement, Indiana State solidifies its 12-game home schedule including nine league games in Terre Haute.
Sycamore fans will get their first chance to see the 2018-19 team face a Valley opponent on Friday, Jan. 11 when Illinois State travels to the Wabash Valley. Drake, which enters the season having won 40 consecutive league games, will make an appearance at the Hulman Center on Friday, Jan. 25
The Trees will end the regular season with three consecutive home games starting with Evansville visiting the Hulman Center on Friday, Mar. 1 and capped off by Southern Illinois (Mar. 7) and Missouri State (Mar. 9).
All weeknight home Valley games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET while all weekend home Valley games are scheduled to start at 2 p.m. ET. All dates and times are subject to change.
