TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State head volleyball coach
Lindsay Allman announced the program's full 2018 schedule Wednesday, just over a week after the home slate was unveiled.
The Sycamores open the season in the Hoosier State at the Fort Wayne-hosted Mastodon Invitational on Aug. 24-25 before heading to the Volunteer State for the Tennessee Classic on Aug. 31 to Sept. 1.
Green Bay, Central Michigan and Saint Louis will all head to Terre Haute for the Sycamore Invitational on Sept. 7-8 before the Trees head to the Rocky Mountains to play in the Colorado/Colorado State co-hosted Colorado Classic in Boulder and Fort Collins, Colorado on Sept. 14-15. Both host schools in that tournament were ranked in the top 25 at the conclusion of the 2017 season as Colorado finished ranked 19
th while Colorado State was 24
th.
The trip west concludes the non-conference portion of the slate as Missouri Valley Conference play opens on Friday, Sept. 21when Valparaiso visits ISU Arena. Indiana State's road conference matches are grouped in bunches with three straight road matches starting on Monday, Sept. 24 at Northern Iowa and then a four-match road swing starting on Monday, Oct. 8 at Drake.
The 2018 regular season wraps up at home on Saturday, Nov. 17 when the Sycamores host Northern Iowa for Senior Night. The MVC Tournament will be held in Springfield, Missouri on Nov. 22-24.
