Coach Christensen's Corner
"We're excited to get going with competition, we had a practice and time trial sort of thing on Friday that went really well," head coach Josh Christensen said. "This is our first step in getting competition practice for conference and Illinois-Chicago is a good team that will test us well. They got the best of us last year, so this will be a good measuring stick for us. With nine freshman, it's always nice to see them compete for the first time. For me personally, this is my first meet at ISU, so I'm seeing everyone compete for the first time. It's also a home meet, so we are really excited about that, we know we're going to have a lot of people show up, so it should be a great environment and a fun first step in our season."
