Box Score TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Due to heavy rainfall sustained overnight and through the morning, Games Two and Three vs. Southern Illinois have been washed out for Saturday.
 
Game Two was halted with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning with a full count on senior Mary Turitto with the Sycamores trailing 9-1, which is now the official score of the game.
 
Indiana State jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a bases loaded wild pitch following three consecutive first inning singles by seniors Rylee Holland, Erika Crissman and Brooke Riemenschneider, but Southern then took hold with three in the third, three in the fifth and three in the sixth.
 
Game Three has been cancelled and will not be made up.
 
The Sycamores took Game One on Saturday, topping the Salukis 2-1 on a two-run double by senior Erika Crissman (her 99th and 100th career RBI) and great pitching down the stretch by starter Kenzie Ihle (15-13) and freshman reliever Della Gher, who recorded her fifth save of the season.
 
Indiana State is on the road for the final week of the regular season: at Saint Louis for a doubleheader on May 2, and at Bradley for the final Valley weekend series on May 6-7.
