TERRE HAUTE, Ind., – The Indiana State volleyball team will wrap up non-conference tournament play Friday through Sunday at the SIUE Cougar Classic. ISU faces Southern Utah on Friday, Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday and host SIUE on Sunday. Live stats are available for all three games with free live video for Sunday's match only with the Cougars.

ISU enters the tournament on one of its best starts in program history with a 6-2 overall record. The Sycamores are fresh off a five set thriller at IUPUI on Tuesday, where it won its first game against the Jaguars since 2011.

Junior middle blocker Cassandra Willis leads with a .451 hitting percentage (87 kills, 2.81 per game) while sophomore outside hitter Bree Spangler continues her tear through the first part of 2014 with a team-high 96 kills (.271 hitting percentage, 3.10 per set).

Senior middle blocker Kyla Thomas has also turned in an impressive performance so far, as she's played in all 31 games with a .387 hitting percentage (75 kills, 2.42 per set).

Spangler has recorded seven double-doubles in eight matches this season and earned All-Tournament team honors at the Robert Morris/Duquesne Invite last weekend. She was also the tournament MVP in the season opening Holiday Inn Classic hosted by the Sycamores.

Freshman libero Stephanie Bindernagel has been consistent in the back row for ISU, leading the way with 112 digs (3.6 per set). Spangler has also added depth with 102 digs (3.2 per set) while freshman defensive specialist Danielle Waedekin leads the team with 12 aces.

ISU will face Southern Utah (6-0) to kick off tournament play at 2 p.m. ET at the Vadalabene Center. They face the Golden Lions (1-5) at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday and wrap it up on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET against the host Cougars (3-4).
