TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State volleyball head coach Ted Kopacz has announced the team will use the four allotted competition dates in the 2026 spring season.
The team is set to play in four matches over the next month and a half, playing their first matches under Coach Kopacz.
2026 Spring Schedule
- Friday, March 20 – at Southern Indiana – combined practice followed by a match – 5pm CT
- Saturday, March 28 – at Vincennes University – noon ET
- Saturday, April 11 – vs. Central Michigan – at NorthWood High School – 2pm ET
- Friday, April 17 – at IU Indy – 5:30pm ET
About the Team
This spring will mark the first matches for the Sycamores underneath head coach Ted Kopacz, as he was announced the 11th head volleyball coach of Indiana State Volleyball on December 29, 2025.

Late last month, Coach Kopacz announced the hiring of Jordan Holland as his assistant coach in the program. The announcement came on February 27, and Holland officially began with the program on March 2.

Following the 2025 fall season, the Sycamores graduated three seniors:
Cadence Gilley,
Emily Weber, and
Kimora Whetstone. Heading into this spring, all other 16 players from the fall returned to the program this spring. Six seniors highlight the program, including:
Avery Hales,
Kira Holland,
Taylor Knuth,
Macy Lengacher,
Lily Mueller, and
Ella Scott.
Two new Sycamores are set to begin their collegiate careers in the fall of 2026:
Kennedy Glasgow (DL/S, Lawrence, Kan.) and
Dylann Loggins (MB, Elliott City, Md.).
