TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State Women's Soccer team has been announced as one of the recipients for the ISU Community Engagement Recognition Awards.
Head coach Erika True and members of the squad accepted the award on Tuesday evening at a banquet held at the Hulman Memorial Student Union.
ISU takes part and hosts a variety of community service efforts each season including Locks of Love, Domestic Violence Awareness night, Polar Plunge for Special Olympics and the Soup Bowl Benefit.
The Indiana State women's soccer team is proud to be a part of the ISU community service efforts, which ranks highest in the nation according to the 2013 Washington Monthly College Guide. It places Indiana State at the top of its list of 281 national universities in the category of community service participation and hours worked by students, faculty and staff
