TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—Senior midfielder Taylor Reed tied the ISU school record with two goals as the Indiana State soccer team defeated Green Bay 4-0 Friday at Memorial Stadium as part of Bark in the Park Night.

Reed got the Sycamores started in the 23rd minute as she scored on a header off a corner kick from freshman defender Kayla Welch to give the Sycamores a 1-0 advantage.

Just 11 minutes into the second half, Reed extended the Sycamore advantage to 2-0 on a goal 10 yards out off an assist by sophomore midfielder Kate Johnson. The goal was Reed's second of the season and game, to tie the ISU single game record.

Four minutes late, in the 60th minute, the Sycamore offense struck again as another Reed, Abby Reed, scored her first career goal as a Sycamore on a shot 10 yards out off a Kate Johnson assist to make it 3-0 Sycamores.

The Sycamores did not let up, however, as they once again tacked on a goal in the 64th minute off a header by sophomore midfielder Sydney Lovelace to give Indiana State a 4-0 lead over the Phoenix. 

Green Bay could not respond and the Sycamores went on to win 4-0 and improve to 2-2 on the season. The Sycamores will return to action on Sunday when they travel to face the Cougars of SIU Edwardsville at 2 p.m.
