PEORIA, Ill. – Indiana State will enter the final round of the Bradley Spring Invitational in fifth place but only 13 shots separates them from taking second in a tight competition being played at WeaverRidge Golf Course. Sycamore senior Reece Feducia is leading the Indiana State effort as she is tied for fourth heading into the final round.
“Reece is hitting it unbelievable,” Greg Towne, Indiana State golf coach, said. “If she catches a couple breaks she can win. The course was a little rough with really slow greens. We need to become better at adjusting to the elements and course conditions.”
Host Bradley leads the field with a 641 total while South Carolina-Upstate is second at 642, Western Illinois third at 649, Northern Iowa fourth at 654, Indiana State fifth at 655, and Illinois-Chicago sixth at 691.
Feducia shot rounds of 79 and 78 Saturday to finish at 157 and tied for seventh heading into Sunday's final 18-hole round.
