ST. LOUIS - Indiana State sophomore Greggmar Swift has been name the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week, it was announced today by the league office.

A month after setting a new EIU Early Bird meet record (Dec. 9) and running the fifth fastest 60 meter hurdle time in Indiana State history, Swift bettered that performance by winning the event at the Illinois State-Indiana State dual meet Saturday in Normal, Ill., with a time of 7.80, the fourth fastest time in school history. The Sycamore leads the Missouri Valley Conference and is tied for second in the nation with Devon Hill of Miami.

J.C. Lambert of Southern Illinois was named the MVC Men's Field Athlete of the Week while Audacia Moore of Wichita State is the Women's Track Athlete of the Week, and Jeneva McCall of Southern Illinois is the Women's Field Athlete of the Week.
