TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State women's soccer program has announced the dates for their 2011 summer soccer camps, with a total of four camps taking place this June and July.

Youth Soccer Camp - June 13-17 and July 25-29

From fun introductory sessions for the youngest players, to intensive technical and tactical sessions for advanced players, all players are grouped by age and ability to ensure the optimal balance of fun, challenge and skill development.

All camp sessions prioritize individual ball skills as well as fun games to put those skills to practice and develop teamwork. Players are encouraged to express themselves in order to develop confidence and creativity on the field. The Indiana State Youth Soccer Camp curriculum will include individual skill instructions, demonstrations by players and coaches from surrounding colleges, daily competitions, small-sided games and daily scrimmages.

Indiana State will host a pair of youth soccer camps, running from June 13-17 and on July 25-29, with both taking place at ISU's Memorial Stadium. The camps will run from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and are designed for ages 5-12. The cost of the camp is $125 per camper, or $100 for children of an ISU employee. Players will be developing their individual skills, knowledge of the game, technical ability and speed development throughout the week. The combination of local college coaches, collegiate players and experience staff will help encourage creativeness and development in all high-school aged players.

Each day will include individual ball work, functional training, speed training, small-sided games and evening scrimmages.

The camp is set for July 14-16, with registration at 12:00 (noon) on July 14. The cost of the camp is $250 for the three days. For more information or to register for the College Prep Summer Camp, click here.
