Improvements continue to be made during the offseason for the Indiana State baseball program, as multiple facility and field upgrades have been in the works in the recent months on Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium.

During the fall, a new blue grass sod has been laid over the entire outfield, a new irrigation system was installed under the field, the outfield warning track was stripped and will be replaced, a new FieldTurf home plate replaced the classic one on the field and the utility area has been moved to allow for a better entrance to the stadium.

The outfield was also laser-graded and leveled while the irrigation system and new sod was being installed, allowing for any inaccuracies to be erased following ISU's season in the spring and the Terre Haute Rex summer games.

The Indiana State baseball season is just two months away, beginning on Feb. 17, 2012, with a weekend series at Southeastern Louisiana. The Sycamores open up their home schedule with a five-game homestand from March 6-11, playing host to Eastern Illinois (March 6), Indiana (March 7) and UT Martin (March 9-11).
