TERRE HAUTE, IND.  ? Five members of the Indiana State University women's golf team were named 2010 Sycamore Scholar-Athletes at the Old National Bank Scholar-Athlete Banquet last Thursday. The honor is for those student-athletes who have achieved a 3.0 term grade point average in each of the last two semesters at Indiana State University.

“I am proud of the five individuals that were honored here tonight,” Mike Whitson, Indiana State golf coach, said. “Our players' commitment to their academics continues to blow me away. They really do walk the walk.”

Indiana State senior Mackenzie Mack was named to the 2010 All-Academic Team in addition to the 2010 Scholar-Athlete team for the third straight year. The Las Vegas, Nev., senior has a 3.87 GPA while majoring in business marketing.
