Tuesday?s Baseball Game At Miami (Ohio) Cancelled

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. ? Tuesday's baseball game between Indiana State and Miami (Ohio) has been cancelled due to cold and snowy conditions in Oxford, Ohio.  The game will not be re-scheduled.

The game was supposed to be the first of two games between the two squads this season.  The Sycamores (17-10, 4-3 MVC) and RedHawks are scheduled to play on Tuesday, April 21, at Sycamore Field.

This is the third cancellation due to inclement weather for Indiana State in 2009.  ISU's final two games of its Missouri Valley Conference series at Illinois State were also cancelled due to rain and snow in Normal, Ill..

The Sycamores return to action on Wednesday, when they travel to Charleston, Ill., for the second of two games this season against Eastern Illinois (21-5, 7-0 OVC).  ISU previously defeated EIU by a score of 10-9 at Sycamore Field on April 10.  However, since that time the Panthers have gone 15-1 and posted a perfect 7-0 record in Ohio Valley Conference play.
