BLOOMINGTON, IND. ? Part of the Indiana State track and field team competed at the Rose-Hulman Twilight Meet Friday with the Sycamores picking up a couple of victories.
Indiana State's Tucker Field and Andrew LaMaster finished 1-2 in the men's pole vault competition, each clearing 15-feet-5.5 (4.71 meters) but Field getting the win in a jump off.
Elliott Dixon finished third in the men's hammer throw with a toss of 144-feet-7 (44.08 meters) while Bryan Alexander was second in the 1500 meters with a time of 2:56.92, and Cody Siblisk fifth in the 5000 meters in 15:39.62.
Brynlea Mattocks won the women's high jump with a leap of 5-feet-2.25 (1.58 meters while Nikole Snearley was third at 5-feet-0.25 (1.52 meters).
Kayla Rollins was sixth in the women's hammer throw with a toss of 118-feet-6 (36.11), Julia Costello sixth in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:48.84, Rochanda Johnson third in the 200 meters in 27.11 and sixth in the 400 meters in 1:02.60, Kelsie Slater fourth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:23.26, and Alexandria Ray fifth in the 400 meter hurdles in 1:11.48.
