TERRE HAUTE, IND. ? Indiana State senior Kristy Cox (Muncie, Ind.) was honored prior to the start of the Indiana State-Wichita State Missouri Valley Conference volleyball game last Friday for becoming the all-time leader in digs at Indiana State University.

Sycamore head volleyball coach Traci Dahl and Assistant Athletics Director and Senior Women's Administration Angie Lansing presented Cox with a special volleyball marking her accomplishment in a pre-game ceremony.

Cox also has 10 of the top 20 single game dig marks including a career high 37 in a match against Oakland on Sept. 8, 2006. She has topped the 30-dig mark four times in her career, three of them this season.

She is also currently third in the Missouri Valley Conference in career digs.

Indiana State will play at Creighton on Nov. 7 and at Drake on Nov. 8. The final road game will be at Illinois State on Nov. 13 with the final two regular season matches at home as ISU hosts Evansville on Nov. 21 and Southern Illinois on Nov. 22.
