TERRE HAUTE, Ind. ? With a win against the Missouri State Bears (9-6-1, 2-3 MVC) on Friday, the Indiana State Sycamore soccer team (3-13-0, 1-4 MVC) could secure the fifth seed in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and would face off against the number four seed.  With a loss, the Sycamores would be the last seed and take on the number three team.

The Bears dropped their final conference road game to Illinois State this past Sunday by a 2-0 decision.    Their two conference wins came against Northern Iowa and Creighton.  The Bears shutout the Panthers back on October 10 by a 3-0 margin with Samantha Aguilar notching two goals.  On October 19, the Bears defeated Creighton 3-2.

Last season, the Sycamores defeated Missouri State 2-0 at home in their final game of the year.  The Sycamores also stole a 2-1 win the year before.  Overall however, the Bears own a 5-3 series advantage over Indiana State.
