KEWADIN, Mich. – Indiana State women's golf begins their season at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational from September 6-7.
 
The tournament features 13 teams, including Murray State and Bradley, will play the Sundance course at A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort, a 72 par and 6,136-yard course. The teams will play 56 holes over the two-day tournament, beginning at 9 a.m. ET Sunday morning.

About the Sycamores
The opening tournament features two new players – the Sycamores No. 1 player in the tournament who has familiarity to the Missouri Valley: Louise Standtke. Standtke is an Evansville transfer entering as a junior. The Denmark native averaged 78.92 in 13 rounds last spring but averaged a 76.41 in her freshman year (27 rounds) and finished tied for 17th at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship.
 
The other new face to the program is freshman Ava Brumagin, making her collegiate debut as an individual in the Sycamores' opening tournament. Brumagin is a native of Mount Carmel, Ill. In her high school career, she finished 11th in the Southern Illinois State Championship and won the regional championship shooting a 69. Her team went on to win the 2025 IHSA Girls 1A State Final by 25 strokes.
 
Returners in this tournament are seniors Sophia Florek and Rosalie DiNunzio, junior Alana Gilbert, and freshman Keira Brazeau. Gilbert finished last season tied for 21st the MVC Tournament with a season average of 79.0; Florek tied for 34th with a season average of 78.69 (second on team); DiNunzio tied for 41st with a season average of 81.0; and Brazeau shot an 81.57 on the year.
