Terre Haute, Ind. - Indiana State men's basketball secured a 79-63 Senior Day victory over the UIC on Sunday afternoon inside the Hulman Center.

Camp Wagner paced the Sycamores with a season high 25 points, followed by
Ian Scott with 15,
Jo Van Buggenhout with 12, and
Bruno Alocen with 11.
Markus Harding led the team with five rebounds, with Scott and Alocen right behind with four apiece. Van Buggenhout chipped in a game-high five assists, Wagner added a game-high three steals, and Scott tied the game-high with two blocks.

The game started evenly between both teams with the score being tied at 8-8 after 3:22 of play with Indiana State scoring started by Scott with a layup and Wagner following with two three-pointers. After about two minutes of scoreless play, UIC started the scoring back up with two free-throws for another even stretch of six points for each team to set the score at 14-14 with 10:41 left in the first half.

The Flames worked to build a short lead with a 13-9 run over the next 6:14 stopped by a three-pointer from Alocen. The Sycamores turned the game back around finishing the half with a 12-4 run to give the Trees a four-point lead going into the break. Baskets in the run came from Alocen (3), Scott (5), Harding (2), Van Buggenhout (2) to set the score at 35-31 Indiana State.

The Sycamores came out of the break with a 7-1 run to get to a 10-point lead with baskets from
Xavier Hall (2), Wagner (3), Scott (2). The Flames shortened the gap with a 6-3 run stopped by a lay-up from Scott. Scoring stayed even over the next 1:28 with both teams putting up four points.

The Trees pushed ahead to a 22-point lead with a 20-5 run with baskets coming from Alocen (8), Harding (3), Van Buggenhout (3), Scott (2),
Enel St. Bernard (2), and Hall (2) with 5:36 left on the clock. Scoring stayed even for the next 4:35 with both teams scoring 10-points. UIC finished the game with a six-point run, but it was not enough to stop the Sycamores on their Senior Day 79-63 victory.

- Shooting 54.9% from the field, it's the best effort since the Sycamores' last win at Evansville on February 3 when they shot 55.0%
- The Sycamores scored 79 points, the most since winning at Evansville on February 2, scoring 84
- Hitting on a 48.3% clip from beyond the arc, this is the second-best three-point shooting this season
- The Sycamores made 14 three-pointers, the most against a Division I team this season. Indiana State made 14 against Eureka on December 2
- With 25 points off turnovers, this is the most points off turnovers against a DI opponent
- This is the 8th game this season that the Sycamores have had 4+ players with 10+ points

- Camp Wagner scored a season-high 25 points, making 7-of-10 from three. He's the first Sycamore to score 25 points in a game since Samage Teel scored 26 at Drake on February 8 of last season
