Sycamores host Purple Aces on Wednesday night for second-to-last regular-season home contest

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State men's basketball looks to complete the regular-season sweep against the University of Evansville on Wednesday night inside Hulman Center. The game is an MVC TV Network production and will air on ESPN+ and 105.5 The Legend.

The Sycamores got back in the win column in the last time on the court, defeating Illinois State in Terre Haute, 85-76. Samage Teel scored 36 points in the afternoon, the most points scored by a Sycamore since 2006. Those 36 points, along with making six three-pointers, set career highs.
 
Also in the game, Jaden Daughtry finished with 14 points on 5-for-8 shooting and 4-for-4 from the line, grabbing five rebounds in the afternoon. Derek Vorst and Camp Wagner each finished with 11 points. Vorst shot 4-for-6 and pulled in five rebounds, while Wagner made two threes and 5-of-5 free throw attempts, also recording five rebounds and two steals and a block. Bruno Alocen chipped in 10 points with two frees, three rebounds, and two assists.
 
The Series
On January 4, Indiana State traveled to Evansville and came home with a 66-62 victory. Jaden Daughtry scored 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the floor. The next leading scorers – Samage Teel, Aaron Gray, and Jahni Summers – all scored eight points each.
 
Overall, the Sycamores lead the series 103-83. When playing in Terre Haute, Indiana State holds a 64-27 advantage. Indiana State has won the last five-straight contests and are 9-1 over the last 10 games.
