TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Sycamores return home this Sunday, October 12, when Indiana State hosts Valparaiso at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET, with live coverage on ESPN+ and live stats via GoSycamores.com. 

The Sycamores (5-4-5, 1-1-2 MVC) come into the match looking to bounce back after a competitive road test at Drake. Despite the 3–0 final score, Indiana State showed discipline in its defensive structure and moments of promising buildup throughout the match. Goalkeeper Delaney Timmons recorded six saves to anchor the back line, while the Sycamores battled to stay organized against one of the conference's most efficient attacking teams. 

Indiana State has proven difficult to break down at Memorial Stadium this season, and returning to Terre Haute gives the Sycamores a strong chance to reset and find their rhythm in front of the home crowd. The team's midfield control and ability to generate attacking movement have been key strengths throughout the season. 

Valparaiso (3-6-3, 0-2-2 MVC) enters the contest seeking to gain momentum in the Missouri Valley standings but faces a Sycamore side eager to reclaim its early-season form. ISU's balance between an organized defense and opportunistic counterattacks will be critical against the Beacons.
