KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 2023-24 Indiana State men's basketball team earned another award from the
NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches), announced on Monday.Â
The Sycamores earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, which recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2023-24 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The Sycamores were part of 360 programs that received the award, and the Honors Court recipients of
Aaron Gray,
Jayson Kent,
Masen Miller, and
Xavier Bledson were four of 2,100 that were recognized.
Indiana State collectively finished the academic year with a 3.225 team GPA, while Miller finished with the highest individual GPA on the team.
