TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Athletics will host an NCAA Tournament Selection Show Watch Party sponsored by Zink Distributing for the ISU baseball team on Monday as the Sycamores wait with the rest of Division I Baseball for the unveiling of the entire tournament field.
The Sycamore Watch Party will be held at Rick's Garage at Idle Creek Golf Course starting at 11:30 a.m. The event will be held in conjunction with the nationally televised selection show on ESPN2 starting at noon ET as the tournament's field of 64 is revealed.
The watch party is open to the public. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase food from the Rick's Garage menu. Head Coach
Mitch Hannahs and select players will be available for a press conference following the unveiling of the full bracket.
The 16 NCAA Regional site locations will be announced on Sunday evening starting at 8:30 p.m. The NCAA will announce the regional hosting sites on the NCAA Baseball Twitter and on the ESPN scroll.
Indiana State secured the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title for the second consecutive season with a 22-5 mark in Valley play to win the outright title by five games. The Sycamores advanced their way to the MVC Championship Game in the conference tournament for the fourth time in the last five completed seasons before falling in the title game against Evansville.
The Sycamores are expected to return to the NCAA Baseball Tournament for the fourth time in the last five seasons and 13th time in program history. Last season, Indiana State earned the No. 14 national seed and hosted and won the Terre Haute Regional, before falling in the Fort Worth Super Regional to TCU.
