ST. LOUIS - Indiana State golf's Chelsea Morrow earned a nod on the 2024 MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team, announced by the league office on Thursday.

Morrow's accolade is the first since the 2022 season. She competed in all 24 rounds in the 2023-24 season, finishing with a 79.0 stroke average. Morrow's best finish came at the Nevel Meade Invite earlier this spring, shooting 81-79 in the two-day event, tying for eighth place. The Fishers, Ind. native shot her best round of the season in the spring at the Ozarks National Invitational, carding a 73 in the second round.

Criteria for the team requires student-athletes to have competed in 50+ of the team's tournaments in a second while maintaining a 3.50 cumulative GPA. This parallels the requirements of the College Sports Communications for selecting Academic All-Americans.
