Indiana State remains ranked in the Perfect Game poll, receiving votes in USA Today and NCBWA polls

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State remained in the Perfect Game NCAA Division I Top-25 poll and received votes in both the USA Today and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) poll as announced by the organizations on Monday.

The Sycamores dropped one spot in the Perfect Game poll moving to No. 18 overall following a 2-2 week that featured ISU's 13th consecutive Missouri Valley Conference series win. ISU sat two spots out of the top 25 in the USA Today poll, while dropping out of the NCBWA poll after being ranked for the first time this past week.

The Sycamores (23-7) remain in the polls after taking two of three games this past weekend at Murray State to remain atop the MVC standings with a 7-2 record in conference play. The Sycamores have posted a 33-5-1 overall record in Valley play dating back to the end of the 2022 season.

Indiana State continues the 2024 season on Tuesday night with a midweek game in West Lafayette, Ind. at Purdue. First pitch at Alexander Field is set for 6 p.m. ET with the game set to be carried live on B1G+ and 105.5 The Legend.
