WATERLOO, Ill. – Indiana State golf wraps up the 2023-24 season with the Missouri Valley Conference Championships, slated for April 14-16 at the Annbriar Golf Club.
This season, ISU has recorded four finishes in the top four throughout nine tournaments. Indiana State came home first place of 12 teams at the Evansville Invitational in the fall. Three Sycamores finished inside the top 10 at Evansville to secure ISU's lone victory of the season:
Molly Lee (2
nd),
Iyoun Chew (T-7
th), and
Sophia Florek (T-7
th).
In Indiana State's last outing at the ISU Spring Invite, ISU was led by
Briana LeMaire with a fourth-place finish – her best of the season. Four other Sycamores placed inside the top 10: Lee (4
th),
Yang Tai (T-6
th),
Eliza Baker (T-9
th), and Florek (T-9
th).
For five Sycamores, this will be the last outing.
Iyoun Chew,
Kristen Hobbs,
Molly Lee,
Chelsea Morrow, and
Grace Welty are all seniors, accounting for half of the team's roster. The best finishes are as follows:
- Chew – Evansville, T-7th
- Hobbs – Youngstown State, T-6th
- Lee – Evansville, 2nd
- Morrow – T-8th, Nevel Meade Invite
- Welty – ISU Spring Invite, 32nd
