MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Indiana State dropped a morning contest to North Alabama, 6-1, while their game against Memphis scheduled for 3 p.m. ET was canceled due to severe weather in the area.
The Sycamores (7-10) will now play two games on Sunday beginning with Pitt at 12:30 p.m. ET followed by a 3:00 p.m. ET first pitch against North Alabama to close out the Tiger Classic.

Indiana State dropped their third straight contest, losing 6-1 to North Alabama in the first ever matchup between the two schools.
Lyndsi Adamson started for the Sycamores and went 3.2 innings before being replaced by
Hailey Griffin. Adamson allowed six runs on eight hits in her first start of the season. Griffin went 3.1 innings in relief, setting down all 10 hitters she faced.
The Lions scored three in the first and three in the fourth to lead wire-to-wire over ISU. Indiana State scored their lone run of the game in the bottom of the fourth on a
Maeve McDonough RBI. The Sycamores finished with seven hits, led by the Henning twins who had two hits apiece.
Danielle Henning now has four hits on the weekend while Isabella has eight.
Kennedy Shade and
Randi Jo Pryor added singles while
TeAnn Bringle had a double to round out the ISU offense.
