BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana State women's soccer fell 3-0 to Indiana on Thursday night at Bill Armstrong Stadium as the Hoosiers scored three times in the second half to down the Sycamores.
Mackenzie Kent took all three shots for the Sycamores, putting one on goal. Indiana finished the night with 24 attempts with eight being on goal.
Maddie Alexander made five saves in the net for Indiana State.
After a scoreless first half, the Hoosiers got on the board in the 56th minute when Paige Webber found the back of the net off a feed from Alaina Kalin.
Indiana increased their lead to 2-0 five minutes later with a Jen Blitchok goal where Kalin added another assist.
Later in the 76th minute of the match, the Hoosiers would grow their lead to 3-0 when Anna Bennett scored to put the finishing touches on the match.
Indiana State drops to 0-3-1 on the season while Indiana moves to 1-0-3 with the victory.
