WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Indiana State's diving squad closed out the Purdue Invite on Thursday afternoon as the Sycamores took on the field in the 1-meter diving event at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.
Zoe Smith was the Sycamore leader in the preliminary rounds as the junior posted a 226.00 over her six dives in the event to finish 15th overall in the field.
Bailey Betzer finished with a 209.35 to finish 24th overall in the prelims.
Daniela Orta Castaneda wrapped up her final event of the weekend with a 185.40 to finish 30th overall.
Sierra Bowman was the final Sycamore in the standings with a score of 179.65.

Indiana State's swimmers are back in action this weekend as ISU heads to the Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka, Kan. over November 18-20 for the Kansas Classic. Preliminary qualifications take place daily starting at 11 a.m. ET, while the finals will be held in the evenings starting at 7 p.m. ET.
