TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State softball head coach
Mike Perniciaro has released the Sycamores' schedule for the 2022 season.
The 51-game schedule includes 24 non-conference games and a 27-game conference slate.
The schedule consists of 15 home games at Price Field and has the Sycamores playing in seven different states throughout the season.
"We are looking forward to hitting the field very soon. We have a veteran group of players with experience as well as a handful of young players who will add talent to the team. Our non-conference schedule will give us an opportunity to play some quality competition which will help prepare us for the Valley," Perniciaro said. "I expect the conference to be ultra-competitive. Knowing the depth of our league, you have to be ready to compete every weekend."
Indiana State opens their season with an extended road stretch that includes five round-robin style tournaments.
