TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Robert Tonyan, Jr. and Jonas Griffith were both in action for the third week of the 2021 National Football League season as the Sycamores duo took the field for their respective teams.
 
Griffith saw action on the Broncos special teams unit as they took on the New York Jets in an early Sunday afternoon affair at Empower Field at Mile High. The first-year pro did not record a statistic in the Broncos' 26-0 shutout over the Jets.
 
The win moved Denver to 3-0 on the season heading into Week 4 of the season. The Broncos host the Baltimore Ravens on October 3 with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
 
Tonyan, Jr. and the Packers won a wild contest in the closing seconds on Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers. The third-year pro hauled in his lone target of the game for six yards in the 30-28 win at Levi's Stadium.
 
Fellow Packers' tight end and Sycamores alum Dominique Dafney did not dress out on Sunday evening after being placed on the Green Bay injured reserve list earlier in the week.
 
The Packers return home to Lambeau Field next Sunday as Green Bay (2-1) welcomes the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS.
