TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State defensive end 
Inoke Moala was among the players named to the 2021-22 NFL Players Association Collegiate Bowl Big Board, as announced by the organization on Friday afternoon.
 
Moala continues to pick up the accolades heading into the 2021 season as the senior previously earned nods on the Missouri Valley Football Conference preseason honorable mention squad and the Phil Steele Preseason MVFC Second Team.
 
In his last action, Moala played all 12 games in the 2019 season and picked up 11 starts over the year. The Mishawaka, Ind. native finished second on the team with 12.5 tackles for loss and added 3.5 sacks over the season. He also finished among the team leaders with two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Moala was also a disruptive force in the passing game with six pass breakups and four quarterback hurries.
 
This upcoming January, the NFL Players Association will produce the 10th annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl game at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California. Since 2011, the NFLPA Bowl has provided senior NFL prospects with an exceptional platform to showcase their talents to all 32 NFL teams as well as a one-of-a-kind experience that educates participants about the business of football. In the past two years alone, 87 NFLPA Bowl participants have been invited to the NFL Combine and 58 were drafted by NFL clubs.
 
The Sycamores open up the 2021 season tomorrow night with a Week 0 matchup against Eastern Illinois. Kickoff on ESPN+ is set for 6 p.m. ET and will be carried live on ESPN+ and WZJK 105.5.
