LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Indiana State softball had two student-athletes receive The National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region Team honors.
Bella Peterson and
Lexie Siwek both earned NFCA All-Region Second Team honors for the Mideast region. This is the duos third post season award following the 2021 season.

The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's ten regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all student-athletes now become eligible for the 2021 NFCA Divisions I All-America squads.
Peterson led the Missouri Valley Conference in doubles this season with 19, she is currently tied for fifth nationally in the category. The outfielder is also the career doubles leader in ISU history with 53, she also broke the season doubles record this year. Siwek finished seventh in batting average with a career-high .397 average. The third baseman hit her first career homerun this season and recorded 13 multi-hit games.
