VALPARAISO, Ind. – The Indiana State softball team earned a series sweep over Valparaiso Sunday afternoon. The Sycamores (10-16, 4-5 MVC) used four home runs en route to a dominate 8-2 victory at the Valparaiso Softball Field.

KEY MOMENT
TeAnn Bringle lead the Sycamores going 2-for-3 while hitting her second home run of the year. The Trees also had blasts from Isabella Henning and Annie Tokarek.

SCORING SUMMARY
Top 1st – (ISU 1, Valpo 0)
Isabella Henning hit a solo shot over the left field wall -- her sixth of the season.

Bottom 3rd – (ISU 1, Valpo 1)
Valpo got on the board with an RBI single.

Top 4th – (ISU 6, Valpo 1)
The Sycamores had a big inning with three home runs from Annie Tokarek, TeAnn Bringle and Mycaela Miller.

Top 6th – (ISU 7, Valpo 1)
Olivia Patton singled up the middle to bring in another Sycamore run.

Bottom 6th – (ISU 7, Valpo 2)
Valpo plated another run on a wild pitch.

Top 7th – (ISU 8, Valpo 2)
Kaylee Barrett singled and then scored on a wild pitch.
