Indiana State Drops Doubleheader to Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. – The Indiana State softball team dropped a doubleheader with Ole Miss on Sunday afternoon. The Sycamores (4-9) dropped both games by a score of 3-0.

KEY MOMENT – GAME ONE
Abi Chipps, Lexie Siwek, Olivia Patton and TeAnn Bringle recorded the Sycamores' four hits of the game. Abbey Kruzel got the start for the Trees, recording two strikeouts. Arielle Blankenship pitched in relief and struck out two Rebels.

SCORING SUMMARY – GAME ONE
Top 4th – (ISU 0, Ole Miss 3)
The Rebels three run fourth inning was enough to seal the victory. They used a single, a sacrifice fly and a ground out to push their runs across the plate.
