OXFORD, Miss. – Indiana State swept North Dakota State to start the Ole Miss Classic on Fri. March 5, by scores of 10-5 and 1-0, respectively, at the Ole Miss Softball Complex.

KEY MOMENT – GAME ONE
The Sycamores took the lead in the top of the first with a three spot and never looked back. Indiana State scored ten runs in the contest propelling them to a 10-5 victory as Abbey Kruzel and Lexi Benko dominated the circle. Kruzel earned her first win of the season and Benko earned her second career save.

SCORING SUMMARY – GAME ONE
Top 1st – (ISU 3, NDSU 0)
An RBI single by Annie Tokarek and a two-run home run from Isabella Henning (fourth on the year), brought in three for the Trees.

Top 2^nd – (ISU 7, NDSU 0)
Bella Peterson knocked in three runs with a triple, and Amanda Guercio brought in a run reaching on a fielder's choice.
 
Bottom 3^rd – (ISU 7, NDSU 1)
The Bison knocked in their first run of the contest with a sacrifice fly.
 
Bottom 4^th – (ISU 7, NDSU 3)
North Dakota State added two runs on two singles.

Bottom 5^th – (ISU 7, NDSU 5)
The Bison added two more runs with a two-run double.
 
Top 6^th – (ISU 8, NDSU 5)
The Sycamores added an insurance run.
 
Top 7^th – (ISU 10, NDSU 5)
Alexis McCullough doubled to left center field leading to two Sycamore runs from a Leslie Sims single and an Amanda Guercio double.

KEY MOMENT – GAME TWO
Gabbi Schnaiter was dominate in the circle tossing the complete game shutout recording three strikeouts while only giving up three hits.

Bottom 3^rd – (NDSU 0, ISU 1)
Leslie Sims legged out an infield bunt single, while stealing third base, she scored on a throwing error by North Dakota State's catcher.
