SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – Sophomore
Kristen Hobbs leads the Indiana State golf team after shooting a day one 78 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, hosted by Tennessee Tech. The Sycamores start round two of the three-day event Monday morning.
Hobbs turned in a +7 78 on the Par 71 Sevierville Golf Club Highlands Course, putting her in a tie for 26
th individually. Junior
Lauren Green carded a 79 and is in a tie for 32
nd.
As a team, ISU sits in 13
th place at 324, but are within striking distance of the top 10, narrowly trailing Bellarmine (323), Northern Kentucky (321), and host Tennessee Tech (320).
